Powerful Drone
The new water- and dust-resistant DJI Matrice 4TD is specifically designed for the DJI Dock 3, offering extended flight times. It can also be used independently with the DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise. Low Noise and Frost Resistance
The Matrice 4D and 4TD are equipped with low-noise anti-ice propellers, which prevent performance and efficiency loss due to icing in freezing rain, ensuring stable flight. The propeller design is intended to reduce noise during operation.

Wind Stability
The Matrice 4D and 4TD demonstrate remarkable flight performance. They can take off and land stably in wind speeds of up to 12 m/s and stay airborne for up to 32 minutes.

DJI Dock 3 is dust and water-resistant according to IP56, and both the Matrice 4D and 4TD are IP55 certified. The Dock 3 design protects its internal systems from external influences by encapsulating electronic components, ensuring exceptional water and dust resistance for smooth operation under harsh conditions.

With a full battery charge, the Matrice 4D/4TD offers an impressive flight time of 47 minutes at a speed of 15 m/s, providing a 37% increase in operational time. Within a 10 km radius, these drones allow for 18 minutes of operational time. Both models are designed for harsh conditions and have an impressive IP55 certification.

Obstacle Detection for Safe Operation
The obstacle detection module on the Matrice 4D/4TD combines LiDAR and millimeter-wave radar technology for precise obstacle avoidance with an accuracy of 12 mm at speeds of up to 15 m/s. It enables safe crossing of complex power lines and enhances positioning in low-light conditions. This ensures operational safety in diverse environments such as power grids and complex substation setups. If the drone or the obstacle detection module is damaged due to a failure in the obstacle avoidance system after installation of the module, you will receive official, free compensation.

Excellent in Low-Light Conditions
Matrice 4D-series drones feature four high-resolution fisheye lenses for low-light conditions, which significantly improve visual positioning and obstacle detection even under suboptimal conditions. The new night mode enables full-color night vision. The Matrice 4TD also offers an IR-Cut filter function for black-and-white night vision for round-the-clock operation, as well as new NIR supplemental lighting that can cover distances of up to 100 m. The infrared thermal camera of the Matrice 4TD supports a high-resolution mode with a resolution of up to 1280 × 1024 and an HRIR mode for detailed temperature measurements.

Clear Visibility and Sharp Images
The Matrice 4D-series drones are equipped with medium telephoto and telephoto cameras with foreground stabilization. The medium telephoto camera is ideal for inspections at medium distances: it detects pins and cracks from 10 meters away and reads data from meters in substations clearly. The 48 MP telephoto camera captures details such as signs from a distance of up to 250 m. When using the telephoto camera of the Matrice 4TD during a hover in calm conditions, the gimbal can be tilted 80 degrees upwards, allowing for the detection of damage to the underside of bridges. The enhanced stabilization ensures that foreground subjects remain clear even with telephoto shots at 10x zoom or higher.

High-Precision Mapping
Matrice 4D-series drones excel in high-precision mapping and offer a new oblique capture function in five directions, as well as orthophotography in three directions. Additionally, they feature real-time terrain tracking to meet various mapping requirements. DJI FlightHub 2 has been enhanced for use with the Matrice 4D/4TD. This upgrade introduces a range of options for flight route planning, including routes for intelligent 3D capture, geometric routes, and slope routes. This enables FlightHub 2 to improve operational efficiency while ensuring detailed modeling.

Seamless Aerial Relay for Mountainous Terrain
The Matrice 4D series can be operated with the DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise remote controller for standalone use and features an innovative onboard relay function. This allows one drone to rise as a relay so that another drone can be operated at a greater distance. The relay drone automatically aligns with the operational drone to ensure smooth video transmission without a 4G signal and despite obstacles. This feature greatly extends the transmission range, making it ideal for Search and Rescue (SAR) operations and inspections in mountainous areas.

Intelligent Flight and Control

Automated Routes
The new automated flight route is useful in various application scenarios, including public safety and inspections. Once a flight route is set, the drone can automatically detect and track people, vehicles, ships, and temperature anomalies, capture images or videos, and send notifications to operators.

Intelligent Change Detection
The new intelligent change detection function allows for efficient periodic analysis of an area and supports operators in environmental protection, disaster relief, and crack detection, enabling effective and informed decision-making.

Smart Track
Operators can use the powerful auto-zoom features of the Matrice 4TD to quickly and efficiently track people, vehicles, or ships.

Virtual Cockpit
The interface between the Virtual Cockpit and the remote controller has been significantly improved with the introduction of the new Mouselook feature. This upgrade allows the drone to automatically adjust its height and gimbal orientation to quickly and precisely center the field of view ("Point and See").
