Mauch's BECs are divided into main modules and backup modules. The main modules (HYB-BEC, BEC) are connected to the Power 1 port, while the backup modules (Backup BEC) are connected to the Power 2 port.
This BEC is a switching power supply and is paired with a linear LDO (LM1764A) in series to remove the ripple. Due to the component selection, this BEC only gets warm during operation (LDO has a 0.35V dropout voltage). Input and output are protected by Panasonic FC / FM capacitors. Input: 4-14S LiPo / max. 60V. Output: 5.3V / 3A -> +/- 0.05V. 4-pole cable with DF-13 connector (to connect to any HS-xxx-xx current sensor board or to the Sensor Hub X2). 54mm x 21mm x 14mm / 16g with cables and shrink tubing.
