Mauch - PL 2-6S / 4-6S BEC

General

The new PL-Series BECs are an improved version of the HS 2-6S BEC, with the following changes:

• The BEC power supply no longer passes through the sensor board but connects directly to the flight controller.
• Bright blue "Power On" LED.
• Connection port for the PL-xxx sensor board or PL - Sensor Hub X2/X8 with 5.0V / 0.5A.
• External connections via Molex Clik-Mate / 1.25mm connectors (50238).
• The BEC measures the output current and increases the output voltage by a few millivolts, depending on the output load. This compensates for the voltage drop in the connection from BEC to the flight controller and receiver, keeping the voltage more stable.
• Delivery includes CFK enclosure.

• 1x CFK enclosure
• 1x Sensor cable (040) Molex Clik-Mate 4p / L = 150mm
• 1x Backup cable (050) for Pixhawk 2.1 / Molex Clik-Mate 2.0-6p / L = 150mm
• 1x 12.0V output cable, one side Molex Clik-Mate 1.25mm-4p, the other side open / L = 150mm

The PL-BECs are delivered without FC cable, so please purchase the correct cable to match your Setup:

041: DF13-6p -> Pixhawk 1 / APM... etc.

042: Molex Clik-Mate 2.0 - 6p -> Pixhawk 2.1

043: JST-GH-6p -> Pixhawk 3... etc

Installation:

Please connect the negative (black) wire of the PL-BEC as close as possible to the main battery, as this is the ground reference for the voltage measurement. The positive (red) wire can be connected to the PDB.
The PL-BECs can be mounted on the main frame by removing the 4 bottom M3 screws, drilling holes in the frame, and then reinstalling the screws through the frame.
