Interim period extended with implementing regulation (EU) 2022/425

Good news for remote pilots and drone companies! On 14.03.2022, the EU decided to extend the transition period of the Implementing Regulation from 01.01.2023 to 01.01.2024. The decision was made since the planned C-classifications of drones require more time than initially assumed. The extension of the deadline is intended to ensure that the operating permit for established drones will continue to apply until certified drones are available in markets. COMMISSION IMPLEMENTING
