Why DJI Mini 4 Pro

The drone's 249g takeoff weight allows it to be classified in the C0 category under the open category A1. This means that neither a drone license nor permission from authorities for flying is required.

The drone may be flown in residential areas, near people, and occasionally over people. This enables circumventing restrictions experienced by larger drones and allows for flexible project planning without long wait times.
The Mini 4 Pro features flight modes such as the Point-Of-Interest flight, automatically flying routes with its 12-megapixel 4K camera. The captured images are georeferenced, making them optimal for use in model creation. Additionally, it boasts a maximum flight time of 34 minutes per battery and a highly functional gimbal that ensures stability.

Automated Object Capture

To automate the circumnavigation of objects, we utilize the integrated POI flight mode. This allows for automatic circling of buildings and capturing images for easy 3D model creation. First, the suitable flight altitude is determined considering the surroundings, and the drone is brought to this height. Subsequently, the distance and angle of the drone are adjusted so that the object appears centered, clear, and complete in the image. Then, the POI function is activated to automatically circle the object.

Centimeter Precision

Leveling rulers and control points enable the generation of models with centimeter-level absolute and relative accuracy. Using GNSS surveying equipment, the absolute coordinates of control points can be determined, which are used by programs like Reality Capture, Pix4D, and DJI Terra to correct image coordinates. The result is orthophotos and 3D models that can be used to determine various measurements such as distance, area, and volume.

A sense of safety during flight is ensured by the integrated obstacle sensors and 2 years of DJI Care Refresh coverage. Additionally, the landing pad enables safe and flexible landings and takeoffs, even on wet terrain.
