General

The new PL - Series BEC's are an improved design from the HS 2-6S BEC, with the following changes:

  • The BEC power supply is no more passed trough the sensor board and connects directly to the flight controller.
  • Bright blue "power on" LED.
  • Connection port for PL-xxx sensor board or PL - Sensor Hub X2/X8 with 5.0V / 0.5A
  • External connections via Molex Clik-Mate / 1.25mm connectors. (50238)
  • The BEC measures the output current and increases the output voltage by a few millivolt depend on the output load. This compensates the voltage drop in the connection from BEC to FC and to the receiver. To keep the voltage more stable.
  • Delivery inclusive CFK enclosure.

Installation:

Please connect the minus (black) wire of the PL - BEC as close as possible to the main battery, as he is the ground reference for the voltage measurement. The positive wire (red) can be connected to the PDB.
The PL - BEC's can be screwed down to the main frame, by removing the 4 bottom M3 screws and drilling holes into the frame. Then reinstall the screws trough the frame.
