Why DJI-Mini 2

Having a weigth of 249g means the classification in the C0 class under the open category A1. This means for the pilot both the drone flying license and the ascent permit from authorities are not necessary when flying the Mini 2.

The drone may fly in residential areas, near people, occasionally over people. This allows bypassing restrictions that larger drones experience as well as the flexible design of projects without the long waiting periods. The Mini 2 can also automatically fly routes using apps such as Dronelink, while the 12-megapixel 4k camera ensures high quality images that are also georeferenced, ideal for use in post-processing software. Additionally the maximum flight time of 31 minutes per battery and the highly functional gimbal, ensures stability and round up the overall package.

Automated flying

Plan flights conveniently on the computer in the browser or on the app for IOS and Android devices. Pre-programmed plans in the form of facade and grid flights reduce the effort and speed up the process. Complete control with the possibility to intervene as a pilot in the flight at any time, and flexibility through individual options for overlap, gimbal tilt, maximum flight speed, flight altitude, and more.

Centimeter accuracy

The leveling ruler and ground control points allow models to be generated with centimeter-level absolute and relative accuracy. With the help of GNSS measuring devices, the absolute coordinates of the control points can be determined, which are used by programs such as Agisoft, Pix4D, and DJI Terra to correct the image coordinates. As a result, high quality orthophotos and 3D models are delivered which can be used to determine a wide variety of measured values such as distance, surface area, and volume. 10 aerial photo panels in the format 30x30cm cover large areas and can be supplemented with the help of marking spray and tape.

Feel safe while flying with propeller protectors and 2-years of DJI Care Refresh. Set up a safe take-off and landing zone anywhere with a landing pad, traffic cone and barrier tape, even on wet terrain.
